Terrestrial (Primary Rainforest, Mountain, Freshwater Swamp Forest). Lowland to montane forests up to 1200m altitude. Common on alluvial sites, along rivers, on hillsides and ridges. On clay to sandy soils. In secondary forests, usually present as a pre-disturbance remnant tree.
