Terrestrial (Primary Rainforest, Secondary Rainforest, Freshwater Swamp Forest). Common in lightly disturbed and undisturbed mixed dipterocarp and swamp forests in low undulating land or hills up to 800 m altitude. Mostly on hillsides and ridges, but also on alluvial sites and along rivers.
